Injured cyclist appealing for information after hit-and-run along Admiralty Road West

A cyclist was knocked down in a hit and run accident on Oct 24 at Admiralty Road West between 11.15pm to 11.30pm.

Facebook user Masz Masuri said that he had found the injured cyclist lying on the road just after Admiralty West Prison.

In a Facebook post, Masuri said that the cyclist was in shock and could only remember his IC number.

Masuri suspected that the vehicle that hit the cyclist was a BMW.

He wrote, "To the driver who hit him and move off without helping, you left a piece of evidence on the road and we know it's a BMW."

The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) told Stomp that they were alerted to the accident at 90 Admiralty Road West at around 11.40pm on Oct 24. An ambulance was dispatched.

A police spokesperson confirmed with Stomp that the accident involved a bicycle and vehicle and that the 62-year-old male cyclist was conscious when conveyed to Khoo Teck Puat hospital. Investigations are ongoing.
