Residents at Blk 488A Tampines Ave 9 get a shock after lamppost suddenly falls with a bang

Stomper Maimunah was doing her laundry yesterday afternoon (Sep 22) when she heard a loud bang and saw a lamppost fall down right in front of her eyes.
The incident occurred at Block 488A Tampines Avenue 9.
Fortunately, a car was not near the lamppost neither was anybody hurt.
The fallen lamppost had been cleared up at around 5pm, according to Maimunah.
However, she hopes that the respective agencies will investigate as to prevent this incident from recurring.
