Stomper Fijko spotted a gigantic snake on the roof of a drop-off point structure at Block 398, Yishun Ring Road.

On Dec 2 at around 8.30pm, the Stomper was in his flat when his neighbours called him and his uncle to take a look at huge python outside.

He went out of his flat and was shocked to see a python that had slithered its way onto the roof at of a drop-off structure next to the block.

"We were shouting at the people downstairs to warn them of the snake," said the Stomper.

In response to Stomp's queries, Animal Concerns Research and Education Society (ACRES) said that they responded to the incident and that the python was rescued.

Should you encounter a snake, this is what ACRES suggests you should do:

"Snakes like pythons are shy animals who will move away unless provoked. If you see a python, call us at 97837782. Keep a distance and monitor the snake's movement."
