Stomper Hamid was concerned to see a man who appeared to be a hospital patient riding a personal mobility aid (PMA) along Eu Tong Sen Street on Saturday afternoon (Nov 23).

He shared with Stomp a video of the man wearing what appears to be hospital-issued shirt and pants and riding in the bus lane, attracting the attention of people waiting at a bus stop.

"I saw this hospital patient on the run," Hamid said.

"I think he might probably be from Singapore General Hospital (SGH), the nearest hospital.

"Perhaps he was going out to get his lunch."

Earlier this month, a 73-year-old PMA user was taken to hospital after he was hit by a taxi at a Choa Chu Kang junction.

Another user sparked concern from a Stomper after he was seen riding his device in Little India.

Under the Active Mobility Act, PMAs are not allowed on roads.
