Hong Kong woman caught at border checkpoint with 102 iPhones and 15 watches taped to body

A woman was caught late last month for trying to smuggle 102 iPhones and 15 Tissot watches from Hong Kong to mainland China.

According to Shanghaiist, the Hong Konger had taped the mobile devices and time pieces onto her chest and lower body in an attempt to bring them over the border illegally.

Customs officers at the checkpoint became suspicious after seeing the woman's bulky outfit, and told her to go through a scanner.

It was then that the woman's game was up. She was subsequently apprehended by officials.

The items weighed a total of 20kg, reported Oriental Daily.
