Honda uses 'shortcut' to avoid stopping for red light in Jurong West

Some drivers would do anything to avoid a red light.

A Honda driver was caught on video using an unusual method to avoid stopping for a red light along Yung Sheng Road in Jurong West in the early hours of Sunday morning (Sep 12).

In the video shared on SG Road Vigilante's YouTube channel, the car is seen approaching the red light then suddenly using the filter lane on the left before U-turning and using another filter lane to get back onto Yung Sheng Road.

All without having to stop.

Netizens remarked the driver was "innovative" but urged the video's contributor to report him to the Traffic Police.
