Heavy load falls off truck after driver allegedly failed to slow down while turning at Pioneer Rd

A Stomper was travelling along Pioneer Road today (Jun 3) at 11.30am when he noticed a slow down in traffic after a load had fallen off a truck.

The cargo appeared to contain several long cylindrical objects.

"I believe that the driver did not slow down while turning causing the objects to fall to the road," said the Stomper.

The Stomper also saw that the area was cordoned off by workers and that a crane was on site to help lift the objects off of the road and back onto the truck.
