A man was seen trying to reel in what was said to have been a saltwater crocodile that was over three metres long.
A Stomper had shared videos of the incident and said it took place at Woodlands Waterfront's jetty on June 5.
In the videos, a shadowy figure can be seen swimming in the water.
Throughout, the angler can be seen tugging on his fishing rod with all his strength against the creature's pull.
However, his fishing line appears to eventually snap, much to the disappointment of onlookers.
