Guy hits Toyota then tries to chase after it near Upper Changi MRT Station

A man was seen hitting a Toyota Vios and attempting to chase after it as the driver drove away from a pick-up point near Upper Changi MRT Station on Tuesday evening (July 30).

A Stomper witnessed what happened and shared with Stomp a video he took of the scene at Jalan Pergam at about 7.30pm.

According to the Stomper, the driver of the Toyota Vios had been waiting at the pick-up point for about 20 minutes.

"This girl came and then suddenly a guy appeared from around the bend," said the Stomper.

"The moment he saw the car, he rushed to it, threw his cigarette down and began punching the Vios.

"He did it for about 10 seconds before I started recording the video.

"The girl asked him to stop and screamed for the Vios driver to go.

"That's when he started the car and went off.

"The girl and guy then had a heated argument but walked away afterwards."
