A group of GrabFood riders were in for an unexpected treat when a GrabFood customer treated them to bubble tea on Tuesday (Apr 14).

Stomper Thomas shared with Stomp he was pleasantly surprised to receive a message from a customer named Sharon that the five bubble teas she had ordered from Koi were for him and his fellow riders at Paya Lebar.

In her note, she wrote: "Dear rider, the weather is very hot these days.

"[Please] do not send these drinks to my house.

"[Please] share them with fellow riders."

She ended it with: "Take care and stay safe."

Thomas shared with Stomp photos of him passing the drinks to his fellow riders.

He sent the photos to the customer as well and thanked her.

It was only after messaging her, he realised she had given him a $5 tip as well.

"I just want to let people know during this Covid-19 pandemic, there are still Singaporeans helping each other," said Thomas.

"There is still love when times are bad.

"Thank you to this kind-hearted person."
