Two youths stepped up to direct traffic after traffic lights at a junction along Woodlands Avenue 4 stopped working on Saturday night (Feb 1).

Stomper Megan, who is friends with the good Samaritans, shared with Stomp how they stopped to help out.

"We were passing by together when my friend Edison noticed the lights weren't working," the Stomper said.

"He called the authorities before he and my other friend Sameer decided to help out by directing traffic."

Megan added that she thought her friends did a good job while waiting for the authorities to arrive about 30 minutes later.

"They were quite good at doing it and motorists heeded their instructions," she said.
