We can all learn from this kind foreign worker who helped old woman cross the road

Stomper Ricky was heartened when he saw a foreign worker assist an old woman in crossing the road at the Jalan Buroh Roundabout a few weeks ago.

The Stomper said that there was a lot of construction work going on in the area and he applauded the foreign worker's kind deed in helping the woman and believed it was important to share.

Said Ricky:

"Foreign workers tend to be looked as being from a different class from Singaporeans and I just thought it would be good for others to know that this is not the case at all.

"They, like most people, can be kind and good-hearted too."
