S'pore is their home as much as ours: Are we really that different from foreign workers?

Foreign workers come to Singapore to work and build our infrastructures, they live and breathe the same air as us -- so are they really that different from us? 

The Hidden Good conducts social experiments and hold events and activations which aim to highlight the good in the people of Singapore. 

This week, The Hidden Good decided to show their appreciation to a group of migrant workers by giving them mosquito repellent in view of the Zika virus, as well as hand-written notes to show their appreciation.

"They eat with us, live amongst us and within our community, so are we really that different from each other after all?" they wrote.

Whilst talking to them, they discover that Singapore is as much our home as it is theirs.

The Hidden Good is a social enterprise that was started in 2014 as a response to the increasing negativity online.

The Hidden Good conducts social experiments and hold events and activations which aim to highlight the good in the people of Singapore.

It also collaborates with schools to give assembly talks and conduct workshops to provide students with a platform to explore different social issues and how they can contribute back to the society.
