Kind family helps woman whose cab ran out of petrol on her way to visit mum at A&E

Ms Rann Lee was on her way to Tan Tock Seng Hospital to visit her mother at the A&E on Sep 10 when the cab she was in ran out of petrol, leaving her with no choice but to leave the taxi.

Desperate to get to the hospital as soon as possible, she flagged every car along the Central Expressway (CTE), hoping to get a lift from a kind soul.

At 11.30am, an Indian family of four stopped their car to give Ms Lee a lift to the hospital.

Soon after, Ms Lee dedicated a Facebook post to Mr Dinesh and family, which she also shared on the Roads.sg Facebook page.

"I cannot say enough Thank you Thank you Thank you....to express my heartfelt gratitude to all of you. I'm truly blessed to have met you & your family!"
