'Fugitive' begs police to arrest him only after Jay Chou concert in China

A wanted man in Fuzhou, China, was such a passionate fan of Jay Chou that he begged police to arrest him only after his idol's concert.

The man, known as He, was in town for the concert and was nabbed after he checked in at a local hotel on June 22.

According to Shanghaiist, He had been on the run after being embroiled in embezzlement.

During his arrest, He repeatedly pleaded with police officers to let him attend Jay Chou's concert first, but was swiftly rejected.

The suspect and his girlfriend have apparently been huge Jay Chou fans for over 10 years.
