Woman sheds clothes and covers herself in gravy to pose as turkey meal in animal rights protest

Animal rights is an important issue to many but one woman may have taken the phrase 'cold turkey' one step too far in her fight against the eating of meat this festive season. 

Recently, a video featuring a woman on a protest went viral on Youtube. 

In her protest, The woman who was apparently a member of the ‘People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals’ (PETA) group, decided to strip naked and drizzled gravy over herself to pose as a piece of turkey, reports The Coverage. 

She even went prepared with props — lying on a plate that was further garnished with over-sized realistic green peas, carrots, sprouts and cutlery.

The act was completed with a message:

“Try to relate to who’s who on your plate - go vegan.”

It is unclear where or when the protest took place.
