Woman who cut off husband's penis over 'strange sexual demands' in Malaysia discharged in court

A 51-year-old woman was discharged in court for allegedly slicing off her husband's penis.

She was given a discharge not amounting to acquittal by the Sessions Court in Malaysia, reports The Star via AsiaOne.

Judge Nariman Badruddin issued the order after the prosecution failed to state when her 44-year-old husband, who had returned to Pakistan, would be present in court.

Fatimah Abdullah reportedly committed the offence in January this year at their family home in Batu Kikir.

She had allegedly used a blade to slice off her husband, Umar Rahman's penis.

She told police that she did it because she could not long endure her husband's "strange sexual demands" and that she had been tolerating it since they got married in 2014.

If convicted, she can be jailed up to 20 years, fined or whipped for causing grievous hurt with a weapon.
