As 2016 comes to a close, Spotify wraps up the year with their "Thanks 2016, it's Been Weird" advertisement campaign.
Sighted at countries like America, Germany and France, these ads reveal their users' interesting choice of songs.
One billboard in New York reads: "Dear person who played "Sorry" 42 times on Valentine's Day...what did you do?"
Most of the ads are country-centric, with one in the UK saying: "Dear 3,749 people who streamed ‘It’s The End Of The World As We Know It’ the day of the Brexit Vote. Hang in there."
The ads have gone viral on social media, with many users finding it hilarious. However, some people, like this writer from the Independent, called the whole campaign "voyeuristic and mean".
