Plane makes emergency landing at Manchester Airport due to blocked toilets

Despite having eight to nine toilets on board the Boeing 777 plane, all of the toilets were blocked.

This plane was on its way to Pakistan from Toronto before it made a forced landing.

According to Metro, the Pakistan International Airlines flight landed at Manchester Airport following problems over the North Sea.

'The choke arised due to something solid thrown by the passengers', said the airline.

As all the toilets are connected with a common drain line, the choke affected all toilets.

In view of the convenience of passengers, the plane had to be diverted to Manchester Airport for servicing, which caused a delay for five hours.

The airline added: ‘Inconvenience to passengers is regretted.’
