Penang highway shooting victim gets clown send-off

Mr Choi Hon Ming, 32, who was one of the three victims in the Penang expressway shooting, was laid to rest  on Monday (Dec 5).

According to The Straits Times, Choi, who had a career as a clown, was given a fitting send-off. His friends dressed up as clowns and released 32 balloons into the air.

Relatives expressed their sorrow over his loss and his wife said in her eulogy: "I just want you to know that I love you very much and may you be an angel up there. You are a good person and I am thankful for having you in my life."

He was cremated at 11.40am at the Batu Gantong crematorium.

Choi was hit by a stray bullet in a shooting along Lim Chong Eu Expressway on Thursday (Dec 1). Datuk Ong Teik Kwong, 32 was also shot dead and two others were injured.
