If you have ever been to Jakarta, Indonesia, you would know that the city is famous for its epic traffic jams.

A video on Facebook page Opini.id shows that the reason why traffic jams are a common occurrence might be because of the natural 'kaypoh' nature of Indonesians.

A social experiment is conducted where four motorcyclists stop by the side of a bridge to look down onto the road below.

Sure enough, several other motorists and bystanders join the small group to see what is happening, assuming that an accident had occurred.

As the crowd gathers, a jam starts to build up over nothing at all.

So now you know the reason for Jakarta's famous traffic jams.
