British man rapes and beats up woman -- hours before marrying pregnant GF

A 28-year-old British man, Deryy McCann admitted to raping and beating a woman in a violent two-hour attack — just hours before his wedding to his pregnant girlfriend. 

McCann had recently been released from prison after raping another woman as she was returning home with some friends shortly after midnight  in Jan 13, 2016. 

The accused dragged the victim into a park near her house in Hackney, east London before carrying out the horrendous sexual assault, reports AsiaOne. 

After the brutalising the victim, he took pictures of her.

Later on the same day, he married his girlfriend who was bearing his child. 

McCann pleaded guilty at London’s Snaresbrook Crown Court to four counts of rape and the theft of the victims’s phone yesterday (Mar 3). 

Said Andrew Held of Britain’s Crown Prosecution Service:

“This was a terrifyin, violent and prolonged attack involving rapes committed by a man intent on inflicting fear and psychological suffering.”

McCann will be sentenced on Apr 28 and Judge Martyn Zeidman reportedly told the accused that he was going to jail for a ‘very, very long time.’
