Four women have been detained over the alleged abuse of children at a nursery in Bangi, Malaysia.
Kajang Officer-in-Charge of Police District (OCPD) Asst Comm Othman Nanyan said Sunday (Jan 22) that the four will be under remand until Tuesday.
The four were remanded after they were picked up by police on Saturday (Jan 21).
Among those detained was the 46-year-old nursery manager, reports The Star.
The alleged abuse surfaced after Facebook posts showed a photograph of three children lying on the floor with mouths gagged with strips of cloth.
Police have recorded statements from several people and sent the children to hospital for check-up after receiving a report on Thursday.
