A 19-year-old Chinese girl named Cao Mengyuan has put her body up for sale online to pay for her mother's cancer treatment.
According to the Daily Star, she posted her information on social media and is hoping a 'buyer' will pay her the 350,000 yuan that her mother needs.
Her mother is undergoing treatment for skin cancer Wu Zhaofang in Gaozhou People's Hospital, China. She is in a poorly state and is battling an infection
Cao said the winning bidder would be able to 'use her body at will'.
Her advert reads: "I wish that a kind-hearted person could buy me, so my mother can undergo the operation. After the transaction, I am willing to work at the will of the buyer in return."
She promised her potential 'buyers' that she would do whatever they asked her to and that she 'never goes back on her word'.
Fortunately, no sale went through as it was reported that 'a generous boss' had gotten in touch to cover the medical bills.
