Four 14-year-old teenagers arrested for allegedly stealing money from restaurant in Bedok

Four male teenagers, all aged 14, are under investigations for their suspected involvement in a case of theft in dwelling. 

On Sunday (August 18) at about 12pm, the police were alerted to a case where cash was missing from a restaurant along 311 New Upper Changi Road.

With investigations and images from police cameras, officers from Bedok Police Division identified the teenagers.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the teenagers are believed to be involved in another similar case of theft in dwelling.

One of the teenagers will be charged in court on Wednesday (August 21) with theft in dwelling with common intention 

Investigations are ongoing for the remaining three teenagers.

If convicted, they may face a jail term of up to seven years and/or a fine.
