Update on Oct 25:

The bird has been found.

Original article:

A green parrot went missing and was last spotted flying from Block 532 Bedok North Street 3 towards Bedok Reservoir on Oct 14 at 4.30pm.

Stomper Nurul's bird, Adam, has dark green wings, a red line on its yellow belly and a white line on its neck.

It also has two rings around its legs.

One is to attach a hook, which acts as a leash and the other is an identification tag with the identification number of its owner.

Nurul had allowed the parrot to fly freely countless times since getting it last year.

However, on Oct 14, after letting fly freely from under her block, it did not return back home.

She and her family searched outside their home and opposite their home at a bridge in the Bedok Reservoir area, but could not find Adam.

They put up posters of the missing bird in the vicinity of their home.

She said she thinks the parrot lost his way because it usually knows how to come home on its own.

“The bird is my mum’s parrot and she treated him like her own son. It is a sad thing that he suddenly lost his way.

“I hope we can get him back. The whole family misses him,” Nurul added.
