Former doctor allegedly filmed other men in Bugis Junction toilets 22 times within 3 hours

A former doctor had allegedly filmed other men in Bugis Junction toilets 22 times within three hours.

The accused is 30-year-old Indonesian Jerry Christian Nagaputa who was a doctor under Ministry of Health's employment and was attached to Singapore General Hospital's Anatomical Pathology department for training. 

Nagaputa appeared in court on Nov 5 and faced 23 charges for allegedly filming these men. 

Nagaputa was accused of filming at the men's toilet in Ngee Ann City and Bugis Junction between Feb 9 and 11.

At about 4.40pm on Feb 9, Nagaputa had apparently filmed a man using the toilet in Ngee Ann City.

The accused allegedly committed the same act two days later between 5.24pm and 8.31pm on Feb 11 at Bugis Junction. He apparently filmed other men using the toilet 22 times within three hours.

According to Lianhe Zaobao, the prosecution is to submit a mental health report of Nagaputa. He will return to court on Dec 3.

For each charge, Nagaputa could face a fine of up to $40,000 and/or a jail term of up to two years.
