Football fans see red after Singtel's Cast streaming app gets disrupted during EPL matches

Stomper Ruperto was one among hundreds of football fans who were left frustrated after Singtel's streaming app Cast faced issues over the weekend.

Ruperto told Stomp that the app was down again throughout the Liverpool vs Leicester City match on Saturday (Oct 5).

"This has happened so many times," he said.

"They need to stop ripping us off."

Singtel apologised in a statement on their Facebook page and said the issues had been resolved at about 12.58am on Sunday (Oct 6).

Unfortunately, the service was disrupted yet again on Sunday night.

In an update at 9.45pm, Singtel said the latest issues had been resolved.

The telco did not elaborate on the reason for the disruptions.

It wrote: "We sincerely apologise for interrupting your viewing experience.

"Thank you for bearing with us."

However, customers were disappointed on missing out on the football matches over the weekend and demanded explanations and refunds in the comments.
