Fire that broke out at Ang Mo Kio HDB block under repair: 16 of 28 households return home

A fire that broke out at Block 720 Ang Mo Kio Avenue 6 on Friday (July 5) not only left shopkeepers in a rut due to a loss in business but had also displaced several families in the block.  

Stomper Farris passed by the scene of the incident on Sunday (July 7) at about 5.30pm. 

He shared with Stomp photos of the block that is currently under construction.

The Housing & Development Board said in a post on Facebook that as of Wednesday (July 10), 16 of the 28 households in the block have returned to their homes and repairs to affected areas will be carried out soon.
