A fire broke out at Block 44 Bendemeer Road on Tuesday morning (Sept 13).

Stomper Marco said he called the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) after seeing black smoke from the block and shared videos of the scene.

SCDF told Stomp that it was alerted to the fire, which involved several items placed along the common corridor on the 10th floor, at around 8.27am.

The fire was extinguished by SCDF using a compressed air foam backpack and a fire extinguisher.
