A 37-year-old cyclist was taken to hospital after she was allegedly hit by a car along Upper Changi Road East on Monday morning (Feb 18).

In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to the accident, which occurred in the direction of Tampines Expressway, at 7.36pm.

A video captured on Stomper Cohen's dashboard camera shows the female cyclist sprawled face-down in the middle of the road as her bicycle lay nearby.

Another woman at the scene can be seen on the phone and entering the car from the driver's side.

The cyclist was conscious when taken to Changi General Hospital.
