Stomper Emmanuel is at the end of his wits with a monkey problem his family has been experiencing for the past three months.

A monkey regularly visits his home's balcony on the second floor of Block 467 Segar Road wrecking havoc by breaking plant pots and making a mess.

Emmanuel suspects it could be the same monkey that was seen chasing after a woman in the same estate in an earlier Stomp report.

"I really don't know what to do," said Emmanuel.

He had thought of maybe lacing some sleeping pills in a banana so that the monkey would be sedated and easy to catch but he did not know what dosage to use and does not want to be guilty of animal abuse.

"I have contacted ACRES (Animal Concerns Research and Education Society) and AVA (Agri-Food and Veterinary Authority of Singapore) but I do not know how to escalate the issue," he added.

"We are so fed up, all of our plants have been destroyed.

"We have never offered or left food out for the monkey so we do not know exactly who is encouraging it.

"It might be our neighbours on the floors above us."
