A tree that fell onto the Pan Island Expressway (PIE) towards Tuas caused a massive jam on Wednesday morning (May 8).
Stompers Muhammad and Lim alerted Stomp to the incident and shared photos and a video of the obstruction.
The Land Transport Authority (LTA) posted a tweet at 11.13am that an obstacle before Eng Neo Avenue exit had caused traffic congestion to the Thomson Road exit.
Lim told Stomp he was stuck in the jam from 11.30am until 12.45pm.
In a video he shared, workers can be seen removing the tree from the road.
"It's been raining since 4am until now causing trees to fall and accidents to happen," he said.
