Two people in their 80s were found in their flat and taken to hospital after worried neighbours who had not seen them out of the house for two days called the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF).

In response to a Stomp query, the SCDF said they were alerted to the incident at Block 59 Circuit Road on Sep 4, at about 10.45pm.

Stomp understands that a man and a woman were conscious but unable to move when found. They were conveyed to Tan Tock Seng Hospital.

Stomper Protection for the People said he was at the scene at around 11.50pm when he heard shouting.

He told Stomp: "The police and SCDF arrived and broke into the unit.

"Nobody entered the flat but five minutes later, paramedics dashed in and brought an elderly man and an elderly woman out of the unit."
