An e-scooter rider was caught on video travelling in the Marina Coastal Expressway (MCE) tunnel.

Several Stompers alerted Stomp to the clip posted on Beh Chia Lor - Singapore Road's Facebook page that has shocked viewers with the rider's dangerous behaviour.

Hairul Ismail, who posted the video, told The Straits Times that the incident happened on Nov 10 at around 10.50pm near the East Coast Parkway (ECP) exit.

The video was taken by Hairul's friend's wife.

Netizens slammed the e-scooter rider's reckless riding:

An e-scooter enthusiast wrote that he did not condone such behaviour and slammed the rider for spoiling the image of others who ride scooters:

With more people taking to e-scooters and other Personal Mobility Devices (PMDs), there have been increasing reports of reckless behaviour.

Stompers Dean and Hock Huat shared two other videos of PMD riders on the road.

Dean shared a circulated video he had received from a friend showing a group of youths riding e-bikes and e-scooters on the road, some without helmets.

Hock Huat took a video of a youth riding an e-scooter on the road amidst traffic at Canberra Circle yesterday (Nov 12).
