E-scooter girl speeds on road without a care for the law... or her life

A girl was caught on camera riding an electric scooter on the road, despite it being both dangerous and illegal.

It is unclear when the incident occurred, but a video of the rider's behaviour was posted by ROADS.sg, who said it took place along Bukit Batok Road to Bukit Batok West Avenue 3.

The girl was said to be travelling at above 25km/h.

Personal mobility devices (PMDs) like e-scooters are not allowed on roads in Singapore.

Users must also ensure that they travel below the speed limit of 15km/h on footpaths, and 25km/h on shared and cycling paths.

But it seems like some people have no regard for these laws at all.
