E-bike rider uses phone while riding with child along Ubi Avenue 1

An e-bike rider is attracting criticism from netizens after he was caught on video riding along Ubi Avenue 1 with a young child.

In the footage posted on SG Road Vigilante's YouTube page, the man is also seen using a phone at the same time, with just one hand steering the device.

According to the caption, the incident happened on Tuesday (Feb 23) at about 1.32pm.

Under the Active Mobility Act, e-bikes are allowed on the road so long as they keep within the speed limit.

However, netizens have expressed how dangerous it is to be riding on the road with a young child while talking on the phone.
