Drunk man allegedly slashes his own leg, leaves huge pool of blood at Ang Mo Kio block

A 56-year-old man was taken to hospital after allegedly injuring himself following a drinking session on Thursday night (Sep 3).

Stomper Randy shared circulated photos showing a huge pool of blood that the man reportedly left behind at Block 511 Ang Mo Kio Avenue 8.

Responding to queries by Stomp, the police said they received a call for assistance at the block at 9.50pm.

The man, who is believed to be a resident at Block 508, was conscious when conveyed to Sengkang General Hospital.

According to Shin Min Daily News, the man had slashed his own leg for unknown reasons after drinking alcohol.

He apparently refused to seek medical treatment after injuring himself, prompting his friends to call the police for help instead.
