Driver taken to hospital after lorry ends up in drain in accident with two trailers at Gul Circle

A 41-year-old driver was taken to hospital after the lorry he was driving was involved in an accident with two trailers at the junction of Gul Circle and Gul Way on Tuesday morning (Aug 3).

In a video shared on SG Road Vigilante's YouTube channel, the lorry is seen in a drain.

The driver is apparently stuck in the driver's seat and the airbag has been deployed.

Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) are seen arriving at the accident site.

In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to the accident at 8.22am.

"The 41-year-old male lorry driver was conscious when conveyed to the hospital," a police spokesman said.

Police investigations are ongoing.
