Driver taken to hospital after crashing van into traffic light at Woodlands junction

A 36-year-old man was taken to hospital after crashing his van into a traffic light in Woodlands on Thursday morning (Oct 4).

Stomper Raj, who was at the scene at around 8.45am, contributed a photo and a video that show the van with a dented front bumper.

In response to a Stomp query, the police said that they were alerted to an accident involving a van at the junction of Woodlands Avenue 9 and Woodlands Avenue 10 at 8.51am.

The van driver was conscious when conveyed to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital

Stomp understands that he suffered ankle pains.

Police investigations are ongoing.
