Driver taken to hospital after accident involving bus and car at Havelock Road junction

A 43-year-old man was taken to hospital after an accident involving a bus and a car occurred at 10.38pm on Friday (Aug 30) along a junction at Havelock Road.

Stomper Kohji shared photos with Stomp of the accident when he was having drinks at a pub nearby.

He told Stomp: "When I saw the accident, the police were already there."

In response to a Stomp query, the police said: "At 10.38pm on Aug 30, the police were alerted to an accident involving a bus and a car at the junction of Havelock Road, Outram Road and Kim Seng Road.

"The car driver, a 43-year-old man, was conscious when conveyed to Singapore General Hospital.

"Police investigations are ongoing."
