The police confirmed with Stomp that a report was lodged and they are investigating a case where a BMW driver was caught on video beating the red light at the junction of Alexandra Road and Leng Kee Road on Friday evening (May 10).

This happened after he was approached by two men for suddenly stopping and not moving while the light was green.

Stomper Allen alerted Stomp to the video that was posted in two parts on Singapore Reckless Drivers' Facebook page.

In the video, the white BMW comes to a stop while the traffic light is green.

A man and his friend are seen approaching the car and speaking to the driver briefly before the BMW moves off, comes to a stop again before moving off while the traffic light was red.

The driver narrowly avoids vehicles coming from the right and a motorcyclist making a right turn from the left.

According to the post, the motorist who approached the driver said he could smell liquor when he was talking to him and that the other man "looked drunk" before he wound up his window and drove off.
