Police are investigating an incident in which a car was found vandalised while parked at a carpark in Tampines on Friday (Jan 29).

Stomper Nick said the incident occurred while his car was parked at Block 489C Tampines Street 45 from 9.30am to 3pm.

Nick, who shared photos showing the damage, said: "My car was vandalised by unknown people. The scratches are very deep and they go all the way from the fender, near the headlight, to the back of the car.

"It is very devastating as I'd resprayed my car for less than one year."

The Stomper, who has made a police report, is appealing for witnesses and more information.

Nick added: "I would appreciate it if there are any witnesses or kind souls who can help to provide details of the culprit.

"I have also looked through the surroundings and noticed a CCTV camera at the staircase of Block 489C, between the first and second levels, which might have captured the culprit."

In response to a Stomp query, the police confirm that a report was lodged and investigations are ongoing.
