Driver crashes into road divider at Jalan Bukit Merah Road -- then allegedly goes MIA

Stomper Alando was awoken by a loud bang at 6am today (Jan 9) and was shocked to see the wreckage of a car along the road next to Jalan Bukit Merah Block 146.

When the Stomper rushed out of his home to find out what the commotion was about, he was informed by his neighbour that a car had just crashed into the road divider at the nearby road.  

According to his neighbour, the driver of the vehicle then fled, abandoning his vehicle at the scene of the accident. 

A police spokesperson said, "On 9 Jan 2017, at 6.13am, the police were alerted to an accident involving a car along Jalan Bukit Merah. No injuries were reported. Police investigations are on-going."
