Driver sent to hospital after crashing into rear of lorry along Adam Road

An accident left the driver of a car injured after he crashed into the rear end of a lorry along Adam Road.

In a statement, the police told Stomp that they were alerted to the accident involving a car and a lorry along Adam Road towards FarrerĀ RoadĀ at around 4.02am on Dec 28.

"The car driver, a 46-year-old man, was conscious when he was conveyed to Tan Tock Seng Hospital," added the police.

A photo of the accident was circulating on WhatsApp, showing that the bonnet of the car was badly damaged and that the windscreen had been shattered.

Stomp understands that the lorry was travelling at a slow speed when the car collided into the rear end of the lorry.

Police investigations are ongoing.
