Driver alarmed after boy runs across road at Clementi carpark

Stomper Elijah was at driving in a carpark near Block 322 Clementi Avenue 5 yesterday (Oct 30) at around 4.45pm  when he saw a boy who alighting from a car ahead, darting across the road.

The boy who emerged from the white car looked on curiously at Elijah’s car as he pranced across the road.

He was followed by a woman who also ran out after him. 

Fortunately, Elijah was able to stop his vehicle in time.

Said Elijah:

“Parents or guardians should really be more alert and vigilant where kids are concerned. 

“Good thing I saw the child and hence, waited for her to rush to him.”
