4 people including 4-year-old boy taken to hospital after collision at Punggol Drive junction

A 51-year-old man, a 41-year-old man, a 36-year-old woman and a four-year-old boy were taken to hospital after an accident involving two cars at the junction of Edgedale Plains and Punggol Drive on Wednesday evening (Nov 3).

A black car had mounted a kerb and crashed into a traffic light. The front of a silver car appeared to be badly damaged.

In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to the accident at 6.54pm.

"A 51-year-old male driver and a 41-year-old male driver from the other car, along with his 4-year-old male passenger and 36-year-old female passenger, were conveyed conscious to the hospital," a police spokesman said.

Police investigations are ongoing.
