Driver, 20, taken to hospital after car crashes into central railing at Bartley Road

A 20-year-old man was taken to hospital after the car he was driving crashed into a central railing along Bartley Road towards Braddell Road on Saturday morning (Apr 4).

Stomper Freddie alerted Stomp to the incident and shared photos of the wrecked car.

Mangled pieces of the railing are seen lying on the road.

In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to the accident at 11.03am.

"A 20-year-old male driver was conscious when conveyed to Raffles Hospital," a police spokesman said.

Police investigations are ongoing.
