She is then caught 'kicking' a corgi aside as it crossed her path.

Netizens have expressed shock at her actions.

The woman is believed to be the owner of a local dog daycare.

In response to a Stomp query, The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals' (SPCA) executive director Dr Jaipal Singh Gill said: "The SPCA is aware of the incident and we understand that the authorities are investigating.

"The case needs to be thoroughly investigated and appropriate action taken.

"Kicking a dog like this is completely unacceptable.

"It would be very concerning if a dog trainer uses kicking as a method of teaching.

"There is no place for animal abuse in training.

"Dog owners have been charged in court for animal cruelty for physically disciplining their pets.

"The penalties are higher for individuals running animal-related businesses, and rightly so.

"Dog guardians entrust professionals with their pets and business operators have a responsibility to ensure the animal’s welfare is not compromised.

"Pet guardians and dog trainers who require resources on training can visit https://teachwithkindness.spca.org.sg/ to learn more about humane animal training."
