A pipe dislodged and caused a leak at a construction site along Siglap Link in the wee hours of Tuesday (May 19).

Stomper John, a condominium resident in the vicinity, noticed water spurting out from the site at around 5.30am.

In response to Stomp queries, national water agency said it received a report of a pipe leak within the construction at 3.20am on Tuesday.

A spokesman said: "PUB deployed our service crew to the site immediately and the leak was brought under control at 6am.

"Preliminary investigations revealed that the pipe was dislodged, leading to the leak."

"PUB is further investigating the cause of the dislodgement."

Members of the public can call PUB’s 24-hour call centre at 1800-CALL-PUB (1800-2255782) to report any pipe leaks, added the spokesman.
